The Robert L. Fine Cancer Research Foundation has announced a new funding opportunity. Details are provided below.
Dear Sir/Madam,
The Robert L. Fine Cancer Research Foundation has announced a new funding opportunity in basic and translational pancreatic cancer research. The grant is for $250,000 in direct costs over a two year period. The award is targeted at new and recently established physicians and/or scientists who are dedicated to innovative translational research that would be deemed too risky for funding from conventional government sources. The deadline for the application is August 31st, 2018 and further details for grant submission can be found at the Robert L. Fine Cancer Research Foundation web page.
The Robert L. Fine Cancer Research Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit private foundation fostering research in pancreatic cancer. Robert L. Fine MD was a prominent pancreatic cancer oncologist, who dedicated his life to translational research that resulted in several significant novel therapies for pancreatic cancer. Since his retirement, his foundation has continued his quest to cure pancreatic cancer and further his vision and the hope he shared with so many of his patients.
Please feel free to distribute this to members of your research community who would interested in applying. If there are any questions, please contact us at grants@rlfcrf.org.
Sincerely yours,
Barry Fine MD PhD
President, Robert L. Fine Cancer Research Foundation
