Dear Colleagues,

Due to an extended maintenance period needed to upgrade ORA’s Proposal and Award Tracking System (PATS), the system that supports OCGA and ORDM operations will be unavailable beginning at 5 pm on Thursday, September 10, 2020 until 8 am on Monday, September 14, 2020. During this time period, OCGA and ORDM will be unable to process proposals, awards and other contract and grant transactions. Accordingly, OCGA and ORDM will be CLOSED for business on Friday, September 11, 2020.

Proposals or other transactions that are due on Friday the 11th will have to be submitted to sponsors before 5 pm on Thursday the 10th when our systems will go down. OCGA has extended its internal deadline to accommodate the shortened schedule for proposals due on Friday the 11th and Monday the 14th, thus these extended internal deadlines are firm. To ensure adequate time to process materials due on Friday, September 11, and Monday, September 14, OCGA must receive materials as follows:

Friday, September 11 Thursday, September 10 @ 5 pm Tuesday, September 8
Monday, September 14 Monday, September 14 Wednesday, September 9

New awards, proposals and other materials received by Proposal and Award Intake after 3 pm on Thursday, September 10th, likely will not be logged or acknowledged by email until Monday, September 14th.  Award set-ups and other transactions also will be delayed by one day while we are closed on Friday, September 11th.
