As discussed in the September 2016 Research Administration Forum (RAF), UCLA is participating in the national FDP Expanded Clearinghouse pilot, which launched at our campus on August 18, 2016. I am happy to report that the pilot has been running smoothly. A third cohort of institutions (see attached) joined the pilot last week, bringing the total number of institutions in the FDP Clearinghouse to 162.

Understandably, it will take time for some institutions to complete roll-out on their campuses, so please be patient as the member institutions transition to the new way of doing business. In particular, if you have a pending subaward transaction with one of these institutions, and they send a Subrecipient Commitment Form rather than a Letter of Intent, you should accept the Subrecipient Commitment Form.

We recommend that you become familiar with the FDP Clearinghouse website as well as the Outgoing Subaward pages on the OCGA website, and check back frequently since information is updated on a regular basis. Please feel free to contact the Outgoing Subaward Team if you have questions or concerns.
